You get a pretty decent cardio workout if you decide to walk around the gardens at Versailles. So large and spread out.

A long stretch of green grass with trees along either side. The leaves on the trees are turning a red brown colour. There’s a water feature on a lake in the far distance.

Embrace the leg. 🐱

My nighttime beverage more often than not these days is a cup of tea rather than a glass of wine. I quite like this “Sleepy” tea.

When you’ve had a tooth out and still high on painkillers you too will sit and stare at the ceiling. 🐱

Beaches at the end of the day when you get that last flare of the sun are the best.

A beach view. Sand stretches out in front of the photographer with patches of water where the tide is still running out. The sky has a band of cloud with the sun flaring a yellow orange behind it.

Went out for dinner last night before seeing a show. We popped back in afterwards to have dessert and a nightcap. I went with the vanilla bean panna cotta with passion fruit and shortbread biscuit as the dessert least likely to need me to loosen my belt.

A vanilla white coloured soft almost cylindrical dessert sitting in a shallow plate with passion fruit pulp surrounding it and layered on top. Two small round shortbread biscuits are beside it and the plate is lightly dusted in flour.

Live long and prosper. 🖖🏻

A lapel badge in the shape of the Vulcan split finger Live Long and Prosper gesture. The hand is in the LGBT rainbow colours.

Another sign I’m turning into my father: just had an afternoon nap because I’m going out tonight.

A favourite thing to do when visiting family in my hometown is to take a drive up the Eungella range. You can stop at the pub near the top and you get a great view back down the valley. You can just make out the road leading back to the coast cutting through the green.

A view down a green valley. Tops of trees are in the foreground and the valley floor fills the middle with a white ribbon of road visible. There are low mountains across the right side and a cloudy sky.
