🚢 Afternoon walk along the river to balance the 3hrs spent watching Dune 2.

The truth may be out there but sometimes it's just a truck.

πŸ“Ί Finished watching Avatar: The Last Airbender (2024) β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…Β½

A rectangular image with a review of the Netflix series Avatar The Last Airbender (2024). The left third contains the series poster and the review is in other two-thirds. Across the bottom is a rating of Poor Okay Good Great with Great selected. The review reads: I'm a fan of the animated Last Airbender and was quite pleased with this live action remake. The casting is good and if you quibble that X character doesn't look the same as the animated one then I'd say you went in determined to not like it and looking for faults. The episodes are well paced and consistent to the story and it's good to see another two seasons approved. You may not plan to binge watch but you will probably find yourself doing so if you're a fan of the animated version.

πŸ“Ί Finished watching Mr & Mrs Smith (2024) β˜…β˜…

A rectangular image with a review of the Amazon series Mr & Mrs Smith (2024). The left third contains the series poster and the review is in other two-thirds. Across the bottom is a rating of Poor Okay Good Great with Okay selected. The review reads: I'm still trying to work out exactly what they were aiming for with this show. I've seen a lot of positive comments about it but I thought it was pretty average and I stalled after the sixth episode. I only finished it as I'd seen people saying how good the final episode was. I didn't think it was much better than any of the others. I don't think I'll be back for the second season if there is one.

πŸŽ₯ Day off today so heading to see Dune 2 when it’s hopefully less busy at the cinema.

πŸ‘ Thursday is my Friday this week so TGIF.

I have so many things I’m trying to do at the moment. So many little projects I have half started, thoughts written in Apple Notes or sketched out in Tot. Maybe I just need to rule a line through the to do list and start afresh.

I really like what @vincent has given us with Gluon and Tinylytics and now Scribbles. I’m very happy to sign up for a lifetime subscription to Scribbles in part because it’s such a nifty and easy way to blog but also to just help contribute to Vincent’s excellent work.

πŸ“Ί Going to spend my Sunday night lazing on the couch and taking a look at the new Avatar: The Last Airbender on Netflix.

How many of these geographic misconceptions are you guilty of? I know I think of Europe as being in line or due east of the US when it's really more equivalent to Canada in terms of how north it is. Vancouver and Paris having latitudinal parity for example.
