I always give myself a Christmas present and this watchband is going on the shortlist for this year. πŸ––πŸ» www.amazon.com/Star-Trek…

I just need a few people (20,000) to get together and chip in a few dollars each and I’d have a brilliant Christmas present in the shape of a Starfleet Communicator from Star Trek: The Original series, courtesy of this memorabilia auction. πŸ––πŸ»

This Lego Star Trek Voyager intro is brilliant. The creativity is a joy to see. πŸ––πŸ»

Star Trek: SNW Subspace Rhapsody was a great bit of fun! The mix of serious and silly this show continues to deliver is one of its strengths. The emotional turmoil of Spock and La’an really shone through and was so consistent with their story arcs. As was the lighter side of Number One. πŸ“ΊπŸ––πŸ»

Second viewing of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds S2E7 Those Old Scientists. The crossover with Lower Decks was so well done and I loved the references to Enterprise NX-01 and crew. Had touches of Lower Decks humour without being out of character for the SNW crew. I want that recruiting poster! πŸ––πŸ»πŸ“Ί

I really enjoyed Star Trek: Strange New Worlds S2E6. Celia Rose Gooding as Uhura is so good and it was great to see a story focus on her. The interplay between Pelia & Number One, Chapel and Spock, a farewell to Hemmer. That end scene of Uhura, Kirk and Spock was just the best. πŸ––πŸ»πŸ“Ί

Very disappointing news about Star Trek Prodigy not only being cancelled but removed from the Paramount+ platform altogether.

Original series for what’s possibly one of the strongest collections of IP on the platform and it’s removed as a tax write-off. Dumb. πŸ“ΊπŸ––πŸ»

Some spoiler free thoughts on Star Trek Picard S3E8.

    My two favourite lines:

β€œIs this a rescue mission or a continuation of the torture”

    β€œPersonal space is a right”

My favourite scene was the conference room, complete TNG fan service and I loved it. πŸ––πŸ»πŸ“Ί

Every episode of Star Trek Picard S3 has fan service in it.

Episode 4: β€œAdmiral you have the con”, TNG music starts, Picard sits in the middle chair, does the uniform shirt pull down, gives a heading then the finger point β€œengage”.

Perfect callback to TNG and I loved it.πŸ––πŸ»πŸ“Ί

Star Trek Picard S3 just gets better with each episode. Jonathan Frakes does a superb job as director of episode 3.

    So many great lines. πŸ––πŸ»πŸ“Ί

If I wasn’t already really looking forward to Star Trek Picard Season 3 I definitely am after reading this spoiler free review. πŸ––πŸ»

I do love these Star Trek Christmas songs and appreciate the effort that has gone into them.

You can probably find sound bites to create any song you want. πŸ––πŸ»

Watched Star Trek: Wrath of Khan again tonight for the umpteenth time and it’s still my favourite Star Trek movie, followed very closely by First Contact. Khaaaan! πŸŽ₯🍿

I really enjoyed the final episode of Strange New Worlds and the man out of time plot device. The whole season has had everything you could want from Star Trek. As a tv show it nailed the casting, scripts, directing, cinematography, effects. I’m undecided about the introduction of Kirk though. Was it really needed. Do we need to see James T Kirk, particularly when the character is so closely associated with Shatner? πŸ––πŸ»πŸ“Ί
