A work meeting this morning then rest of the day off. Headed to a long lunch then avoiding the bookstore and pen shop on the way back home. Dangerous places to visit after a cocktail or two.

This article conveniently ignores Loki and Wandavision when it asserts “none of the shows that preceded Secret Invasion were particularly great” and references Moon Knight, Ms Marvel and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law as evidence that “Marvel fatigue was real long before Secret Invasion came along”. 📺
The Cat is contemplating Wednesday with the same amount of enthusiasm as me.

I love the comment about Brand X in this Guardian article. X marks… what?
But the name reads more like the residue of too much time spent watching product comparison TV adverts than it does proof of genuine creativity. (Also: wasn’t Brand X always the crappier option?)
Second viewing of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds S2E7 Those Old Scientists. The crossover with Lower Decks was so well done and I loved the references to Enterprise NX-01 and crew. Had touches of Lower Decks humour without being out of character for the SNW crew. I want that recruiting poster! 🖖🏻📺
An advantage to working from home is being able to stop earlier and do all the dinner prep. Once it’s in the oven you can get back to work and finish those last few things.
