They called assisted boarding and I swear half the plane lined up behind them. Herd mentality. The gate sign is also showing the delayed flight number but they called my flight so that’s not going to cause chaos at all. Thank goodness for priority boarding.

I have to get through work today and then I’m done and on leave until 2 January. I have my list of things I need to finish so if someone asks for anything today I’ll be adding it to the 2024 list.
Working at our graduation ceremonies and one of the staff that help with putting academic staff in their robes gave me a lapel badge he made. He remembered I like badges for my jackets. It’s perfect for graduation ceremonies! 👨🏻🎓
I’m working at a graduation ceremony this morning. It’s already 33°C at 7:45am. I feel for the students dressed very nicely to celebrate finishing university and end up being very sweaty just getting there. At least they’re in AC once they’re there. I’m leaving my AC on ready for when I get home.

I loved the three Doctor Who specials and intend to rewatch before the Christmas episode. Neil Patrick Harris as the Toymaker in the third one was brilliant casting. His routine inside UNIT HQ was wonderful silliness.
I have no issue with the way the regeneration played out in the third one. 📺
I’d like to drop gmail as it’s the last bit of Google I haven’t removed from my life. However, I have a grandfathered free Workspace having set it up in about 2010 when it was Google Apps and cost nothing. Email addresses across multiple domains for free is a big hook I haven’t been able to get off.
